Q:Is the bin cooled to maintain the ice? Or does the ice melt and just keep getting replenished?

A:The bin is not cooled. There is a drain in the bottom for water to drain out. It is very well insulated and doesn't melt too quickly.it can keep the ice not melt 24 hours, Thanks!
